Starbucks Domicillo Design Hotel

"A cup of coffee shared with a friend is happiness tasted and time well spent." While there's a lot of Starbucks out there each offering the same coffee, as far as location and view are concerned, no one offers a view so panoramic, heavenly, dreamy and divine that is Starbucks Domicillo Hotel. Imagine sipping your favorite Chocolate Cream Chip Frappucino overlooking the ethereal Taal Volcano, how dope must that be? Today me and my friend decided to have a quick one-day-only getaway to escape stress in the nearby Tagaytay City. Adulting can be very tiring so we both needed to replenish before we get consumed by exhaustion. A friend of mine recommended this new Starbucks and upon seeing pictures online, I died. The superb view is something poets would draw inspiration! The exterior looks so mundane and quite appalling at some point. Inside is just another Starbucks with tables and chairs and couches and as go further, Taal is already waving at you and i...

Rediscovering Dubai, UAE: Burj Al Arab

My journey in rediscovering Dubai is never complete without including one of the most prominent icon of the city, thanks to its remarkable ship's sail design. Doing some research, I found out that it's the third tallest hotel in the world has one of the most expensive suites in the world! Luxury is what this hotel offers. People from around the world with extra cash and wants some extravagance, you might wanna consider this place!        The Burj Al Arab stands on its own man-made island and is connected by a private curving bridge to the shore.        Beach goers enjoys the Burj Al Arab while plunging into the Persian Gulf. Having this hotel in the background is just so dramatic. Burj Al Arab at Night        At night time, this hotel is illuminated by dazzling led lights display. Rediscovering Dubai, UAE: Where to go shopping?

While Dubai is famous for Burj Khalifa, skydiving, luxurious hotels and beaches, millions of tourists also spends money and time to things they can bring back home. Needless to say, all of them loves shopping. Gadgets, signatured clothing brands, perfumes and the likes, almost everything can be found here in Dubai and what excites tourists the most is that it's cheaper in here since there are no taxes. For the past years, Dubai had built luxury malls, shopping centres, souqs, and commercial complexes that are frequented by the locals and tourists alike.        There are so many malls and shopping centres that had mushroomed in Dubai recently and let me break it down to five best malls in my own perspective. And by the way, these malls are very accessible since they all have Metro Red Line stops. So here's the list! 1. Dubai Mall         Dubai Mall is the largest mall in the world by total area....

Rediscovering Dubai, UAE: The Grandiose Dubai Mall

Dubai Mall is the largest mall in the world by total area. Along with West Edmonton Mall in Canada, it is the nineteenth largest shopping mall in the world by gross leasable area. Located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, it is part of the 20-billion-dollar Downtown complex, and includes 1,200 shops. This mall has several options for dining, entertainment, shops for kids, men, and women. This mall features the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo, The Waterfall, The Dubai Fountain and the Burj Khalifa.        Dubai Mall by the way is the first place that I've visited here in the UAE. With so much excitement and clueless of what I'm about to see in this mall, me and my colleagues went there to hang out and we were indeed amazed by this famous mall. Main facade of Dubai Mall        The grand facade of the mall with the Burj Khalifa in the background is just so regal. Every inch of the mall's design represents Dubai'...

The Spectacular LED Light Display of Burj Khalifa

Without a doubt, Burj Khalifa is one of the most famous and most photographed building in the world. Not just its height is unprecedented, its design is striking and when the night time comes, it comes to life with its vivid and flashing LED display which became an ultimate attraction in Dubai. Twice I've seen its light display but the amusement in me is still enormous.        It was Eid-Al-Adha when I watched the show and the whole Dubai Mall and the vicinity is jam-packed with locals and tourists from around the globe. There really is so much diversity in Dubai.  So here they are, the photos on my second visit to the show but this time I am very close to the building. Be mesmerized once more of the spectacular LED light display of the Burj Khalifa. Just before the show started.        Even without the dazzling colors, the Burj is beautiful enough as it is with twinkling glitters on it enough to enterta...

The Skyscrapers of Dubai

If there's one thing Dubai is famous of, it would probably be its skyscrapers. From the tallest, most luxurious, ambitious, intricately designed, Dubai has it all. Rumor has it that oil in the UAE is running out, and before this nightmare turn to reality, the rulers of Dubai, particularly His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Emir of Dubai and Vice President of the UAE, had turned the desert sands in just a short span of time into one of the worlds most beautiful city to lure tourists and investors around the world to come in, thus generating billions of dirhams in revenue to keep Dubai alive. Shout out to the brilliant minds behind Dubai's transformation and I really am amazed when I first came here few months ago. Like any other tourist, I myself is fascinated with the skyscrapers all over the city. With so many constructions underway, Dubai may surpass Hong Kong or New York as the skyscraper capital of the world, as far as numbers is concern...

Rediscovering Dubai, UAE: Dubai Marina

It was another hot day in Dubai when me and my friend decided to hang out. Before plunging in to Jumeirah Open Beach, we headed towards the Dubai Marina. It is one of the world’s largest, most meticulously planned waterfront developments and offers the exhilaration and vibrancy of a chic, urban lifestyle together with all the advantages of living on the water. It’s a city-within-a-city with a cosmopolitan, free-spirited atmosphere and a unique character all of its own. Dubai Marina on a bright, sunny day        The development is built along a three kilometre stretch of the shoreline and accommodates over 200 residential towers. The area boasts almost eight kilometres of landscaped public walkways, which includes water features, benches and children’s play areas. The master community has been carefully designed to showcase a variety of styles of modern architecture and sophistication, offering convenience f...
