FEATURE STORY

Starbucks Domicillo Design Hotel

"A cup of coffee shared with a friend is happiness tasted and time well spent." While there's a lot of Starbucks out there each offering the same coffee, as far as location and view are concerned, no one offers a view so panoramic, heavenly, dreamy and divine that is Starbucks Domicillo Hotel. Imagine sipping your favorite Chocolate Cream Chip Frappucino overlooking the ethereal Taal Volcano, how dope must that be? Today me and my friend decided to have a quick one-day-only getaway to escape stress in the nearby Tagaytay City. Adulting can be very tiring so we both needed to replenish before we get consumed by exhaustion. A friend of mine recommended this new Starbucks and upon seeing pictures online, I died. The superb view is something poets would draw inspiration! The exterior looks so mundane and quite appalling at some point. Inside is just another Starbucks with tables and chairs and couches and as go further, Taal is already waving at you and i...

The Waterfall, Dubai Mall

Dubai Mall is more than just the largest mall in the world by total space. Aside from home to the world's most luxurious brands, a massive aquarium, it also features unique concepts and design that the world has never seen. One thing that surely caught mall-goers eye is The Waterfall. This massive waterfall runs through the four levels of the mall and features art sculptures of human divers made of fiberglass creating the illusion as if they really are diving from the top to bottom.        Dubai Mall being so vast, the Waterfall is a very good meeting point for families and friends. Coffee shops and retail outlets overlooks the waterfall. Some palm trees were also set up to to make the ambiance of a desert oasis.        With expansions going on, we can only expect that Dubai Mall will be adding more attractions to keep up with the interests of the growing visitors of the mall. How to get there? ...

Rediscovering Dubai, UAE: CLUB SE7EN

When payday falls on your rest day plus you are so stressed at work, I can only think of one thing to do, drink! Me and my buddy found Club Seven on the internet, called their number and headed to it. This is my first clubbing here in Dubai and I'm just so excited.         As soon as we arrived at the club, I knew that what's inside must be something really cool. As we enter, we were welcomed by the staff and asked if we had a prior booking. We answered we have not had a booking so she asked how many are we as she directed us to our table. We ordered one pitcher of beer and some "pulutan" and so the party began. They have a variety of cocktail drinks and food that you can choose from.        They say this is the hippest dance club and bar in the city. I have not been to any bar so how can I say? The party mood was there with pulsating beats from their talented DJs and live bands and shout out to their...

[PhotoBlog] Dubai at Night

We already know that Dubai is a stunning sight to behold during day time. And not even the absence of the sun can put its beauty at rest in the night time. When street lamps are lit, neon signs and building lights are turned on, and thousands of car head lights filled every streets, the city is alive once more, even brighter. Below are photos taken from my phone as I wander around Dubai at night.
