FEATURE STORY

Starbucks Domicillo Design Hotel

"A cup of coffee shared with a friend is happiness tasted and time well spent." While there's a lot of Starbucks out there each offering the same coffee, as far as location and view are concerned, no one offers a view so panoramic, heavenly, dreamy and divine that is Starbucks Domicillo Hotel. Imagine sipping your favorite Chocolate Cream Chip Frappucino overlooking the ethereal Taal Volcano, how dope must that be? To begin with, they have to clean it's own backyard first. The Bonifacio Shrine is only a stone's throw away from the city hall and has been one of the city's landmark to receive a massive makeover. The shrine is one of the most recognizable spot in Manila. It's size, the sculptures, and message it conveys are just so amazing. But it's dull and something is lacking. Well, not anymore. The local government has plans in store for the monument and I guess this time it will be worthy of admiration and fit for Bonifacio who is the Father of Philippine Revolution. Before when I was still new to Manila, I never knew that there is park behind this monument as it was filled with vendors and illegal settlers all claiming the public space as their own. Nowadays, it's now s...
